In honor of the life and legacy of Joe Montineri, Bill Detamore at Pork Pie Percussion has finished a few of Joe’s vintage steam bent shells that he had in a collection. This is the first of them coming, and boy, it is a banger of a drum! 4” x 14” Solid Shell Maple with a Curly Maple Veneer. What a great way to start a tribute series of one-off drums. The shells are about 50 years old, but built/finished as new… what we’re liking to call true new vintage.
