We are gearing up for the downtown merchants festivities during the Montague Balloon Fair weekend ( Sept 18-20)! AANNNDD Shoppe Serendipity is curating the parade SO, here’s the big ask:
I’m looking for floats or creative walking/riding groups( real floats not just vehicles with signs) to join the parade: THINK OUT OF THE BOX- the theme is Up, Up, and Away.

Do you have a neighborhood or a parent group that’s could make a Tricycle brigade, a bicycle battalion, specialty animals to show off, a group of crazy people that will do a funny take on the theme, school bands, art clubs, ag groups, live music, business with a fun take on the theme, service group, clubs, etc?

We already have 3 floats with live music, some businesses, hot air balloon pilot floats,
Equestrian, let’s make this one to remember!!

Please get your registrations to me ASAP.
Although the participation is free, the line up does matter for this event this year so please don’t hesitate. Leave a post below and I send you the registration.

The info for all of the downtown activities will be posted very soon! Watch for those details as well!

LET’S GO!!

I think I’ve finally taken it all in and my gratitude is immense… I’m so proud of the musicians that were featured during the Serendipity Summer Jam and absolutely elated at how many people came out every Monday for SEVEN weeks! No less than 150 people each time-incredible!
Great music, happy faces, dancing children, dancing adults, d well behaved dogs and bubbles!
Seeing the kids dancing and playing during the concerts, made me think that maybe, when they are grown, these will be the summer moments they remember. How fun is that?!
The exposure to different genres of music helps create open minds and hearts and the sense of community at every concert was strong.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported all of the musicians who travelled far and wide to share their music.
Thank you to the musicians for their kindness, their graciousness, and for sharing their incredible talents.
Thank you to our sponsors:
Reliable Plumbing, Novy Ranch, Jefferson Resource Group, Cortrights Market, Siskiyou County Arts Council, Art Among Us, Morgan Heavy Equipment, and Shoppe Serendipity.

A thank you to the “nuts and bolts” of the concerts: Eric Hill-stage extraordinaire, Erik Erickson, for the great contact and support, Snow Thorner-for dinner pick ups, the flat bed buddies: Janna and Jim Lovett, Stan Sears, and Mike Peter’s!
It takes a village.
I’ve already started working on next years plans! Looking forward to big things!

Montague Rotary just recently asked Shoppe Serendipity to curate the Montague Balloon Fair PARADE.
Let’s make this a visual feast!
Rotary chose the theme “Up Up & Away” (so cute, so many possibilities).
There are already floats, live music, and new participants that are signing up. Don’t miss out on a creative and fun way to promote your business, group, or just have fun with your family or friends by putting float together!
If your group, family, band, school group, or business could use a little community, this is the event!
No fee to enter but your registration needs to be in as soon as possible.
The line up matters so please get your registration in to Shoppe Serendipity by:
emailing [email protected], dropping your registration off at Shoppe Serendipity in the mail slot at 140 S. 11th St. in Montague, or text me your registration at 530.598.0075.
Think big, be creative. If you need help with how to make your idea come to fruition or need ideas just shoot me a text… these are the things I think about when I can’t sleep so I have ideas ! 😉
UP UP AND AWEWWAAAAYYYYY!!!

This week got away from me but that doesn’t mean I’m not over the moon about the next (and LAST) concert of the Serendipity Summer Jam!
Coming all the way from Maryland, Michael Joseph Harris will be on the stage with band mates from Portland, Lone Fir Hot Club, playing their incredible Django style music. This is for true music lovers, let me tell you-they are incredible!

Along with this line up, is our featured foodie and favorite, Petitos Patio (Tacos Tao). Their truck will be here on site, so no need to pre order.

Bring your chairs, bring your friends and enjoy this last concert. It has been a pleasure seeing so many come out and appreciate music EVERY WEEK for SEVEN weeks! I really appreciate seeing those who bring their kiddos out as well, to expose them to the various genres of music that were curated this year. It’s important that they have this exposure and you are rocking the parent scene!
See you there at 6 ( come a little early if you want to get your dinner ready before show time) !🎶
