Well we were lucky to sneak a trip in before the wind cranked up this morning. When the crew flies in all the way from Oklahoma they won’t take no for an answer! Plenty of Striped Bass of all sizes and took home 4 slot size keepers for dinner. Thanks for coming out and enjoy your fresh fish dinner tonight!

Jerry, Neil and Frank took a ride this afternoon. We had decent action for most of the trip. Got some small Blues and a few scup on the diamond jigs along with one keeper Striper. Switches over to trolling for bass once the ebb got rolling. We captured 2 more keepers. Tossed back 3 shorts and another 2 over slot fish. Beautiful afternoon with a fine group of gentleman.

Absolutely picture perfect weather this morning for a group of Hither Hills campers. The crew wanted to stick with the jigs so that’s what we did. I don’t know how many Blues we tossed back but it was a lot. Got 2 Striped Bass within the slot. Tossed back a few shorts and a few that were too big as well. The Porgys have finally shown in force and we were able to capture a bunch of those on the jigs as well. Enjoy your fresh fish guys and the rest of your vacation week!

Nonstop action this morning for the Brookhaven boys. Plenty of little Blues for the smoker and 5 keeper Striped Bass as well. Tossed back many big bass including one beast over 50” long. Few bycatch Scup on the jigs as well. All in all an excellent morning!

Had a few of Northports bravest out this morning for a half day excursion. We pushed off quite late due to the absolute insane traffic we’re experiencing due to the U.S. Open Championship Luckily for this group I didn’t have an afternoon half day booked. Well we had slack tide for a good portion of the trip but still managed plenty of fish for the boys. Please plan for an extra hour of travel trying to get out here. This happens every 5 years and it absolutely chokes the east end of the island off. What a nightmare. Hopefully things can happen to resolve this or better yet they move to a new location.

Chris, Dom and Rich had an action packed morning today. Started with the Jig rods and had nonstop bites between the Bluefish and Striped Bass. We opted to try a little bottom fishing for the last hour of the trip and got rewarded with a few keeper Sea Bass for our efforts with one true jumbo caught by Rich.

Great group of guys today that have become friends. Stated off diamond jigging a ton of Bluefish and a fair number of Stripers. We tossed back a few unders and overs and managed 3 within the slot. The Fluke fishing continues to be a grind but we did see a good amount of Sea Bass today keeping 11. 1 giant Whiting and 1 keeper Fluke rounded us out. Bob Roberts put the most fish in the boat today. Enjoy your fish guys and thanks for spending the day with Adam and I.

Back at it on day 2 today for this group. Got off the dock on gentleman’s hours. Loaded up on decent size ling to start things off. Probably iced around 30 of those. Added 4 Sea Bass and 1 Fluke to the box before hitting the Blues and Striped Bass. Threw back a load of Bluefish and around 10 oversized Striped Bass. Kept 7 slot Stripers and called it a day. It was pleasantly cool out on the boat but got crazy hot in the harbor!
