He saw the need for a place where one could find native & less common, worthy plant material, a place where you could learn and come to appreciate unique approaches to gardening and landscaping. Our garden center is in its 16th year of operations. Grimes Land Design, has been in business over thirty years. Both businesses operate out of the unique town of Montauk. This area is quite special & our

native vegetation is something we take pride in. One of our constant goals is to promote the use of native vegetation no matter where you live. Take pride in your local flora and incorporate some into the landscape you create. We do not, by any means, sell or use only native plants. There are also many wonderful ornamentals we have available. We are always looking out for the unusual, less common plant varieties including specimens, new or rare perennials, annuals, trees, and shrubs. We do our best to make a splendidly varied selection available throughout our season. As always, the best way to do any plant justice is to see it personally or better yet to grow it in your garden.
