Happy Earth Day!

The Free Community-wide Swap is Saturday, April 29th, from 9 - 11, with drop off of donations on Friday, April 28th, from 4 - 6:30. It's a great place to get rid of all the stuff you no longer need and find what you want. (You do not need to take anything if you donate and you do not need to donate to take anything.) Please help make the Swap a success by:

Donating clothing, children's and young adult books, DVD's, small household items, sports and baby equipment, games and toys, and bikes. (We CANNOT take adult books, carseats, booster seats, potties, cribs, helmets, computer manuals, outdated software, textbooks, large furniture, and any other large items.)
Volunteering to help on Friday or Saturday
Coming and taking anything you want, all for free
Spreading the word to friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers
Thanks and hope to see you there.

As some of you know, my dear friend and Terra community member, Dr. Linda Robins opened a new office for her Homeopathic Practice at 92 Church Street in Montclair, New Jersey.

At the site, Dr. Robins has also opened a retail store to sell, among other things, her line of Dr. Linda's products. The office combines the two passions of Dr. Robins; bringing wellness to patients through Dr. Robins's practice of Holistic Homeopathy and providing magnesium-rich products to the public at large. We used to sell these excellent products at Terra and now you can go directly to the source!

Go check it out if you haven't already.

Mahalo.

Hello friends, I am sharing a note from Greg Parson regarding a special upcoming happening. Hope you all are well.-Grace

The Coalition of Immokalee Workers will be coming through Montclair on Monday October 17th. The new Montclair Fair Food Alliance will be hosting and we'd love to arrange a meeting/presentation at Bnai Keshet! I'll post some links to describe the campaign and I've cc'd Jesse (local student who just came back from Immokalee) and Patricia who is now in Immokalee working with the Alliance for Fair Food. The CIW is featured in the documentary Food Chains (http://www.foodchainsfilm.com/)
The plan is to give a presentation at the High School, hold a demo at a nearby Wendy's and visit a few local organizations. Then have a social event at 73 See Gallery on Pine St in the early evening (busy day!)

Drop Greg a note if you think we can hold a meeting with the workers/organizer on Monday 10/17 or if you’d be interested in helping pull together a broader interfaith event.
