Got word that a great man in the Breweriana world passed, John Fritsch. Man, what a guy, a man who loved the history as much as love the junk we collected. A wealth of knowledge and a great steward to the hobby.
First show I attended I was collecting beer caps, he had a full Jung bottle with a cap I needed. I offered to buy just the cap because I didn’t have enough money to buy whole bottle 🤣. He told me you can’t do that! We remained friends ever since that day at the Madison show around 2000/2001. John you will be missed.
