While you’re visiting Old Fisherman’s Wharf, be sure to check out the fascinating “Road to Del Monte” exhibit at the adjacent Stanton Center Museum, near the Wharf parking lot. On display through August 17, the exhibit celebrates the early days of motoring and racing on the Monterey Peninsula, with rare historic automobiles, motorcycles, artifacts and photographs—including images from the 1903 races from San Jose to the Hotel Del Monte racetrack and Pebble Beach.
