This b**r set was made around 1915 for the Leisy B**r Co. of Peoria, Illinois. It went out of business during Prohibition. Its style is Art Nouveau almost crossing over into Art Deco. In the shop today

Sad b**r news today- This was San Francisco’s Anchor Steam B**r’s 1905
original location on Pacific Avenue between Larkin and Hyde Street. The legacy company that became Anchor started in 1872...
Sadly, Anchor Steam announced today that they were filing for bankruptcy and ceasing operations. The taproom however will remain open for local b**r lovers awhile longer until their stock on hand runs out. So if you feel like enjoying a cold one and last nostalgic hurrah at their brewery location don’t wait too long.
Yet another one of San Francisco’s historic landmark traditions becomes a fatality of the times and fades away.🍺🍻

Our wonderful friend and fellow dealer Pat Hathaway who passed away not long ago left one of the largest collections on the west coast of historical photos without a home.Read the story about the happy ending. Before Pat died we acquired a large portfolio of his historical local photos printed by him from the original glass plates and stamped with his archive stamp. Pat Hathaway’s collection of thousands of photographs captures the photographic and visual history of early California, especially the Monterey area. It includes more than 80,000 original photographs and negatives, some dating back to the California Gold Rush.
