It’s here! Sourdough workshop! We are partnering with our friends at Cedar House Café, 120 W. Marcy in Montesano for this fun afternoon. Sunday, October 25, 3 to 5 PM. Plenty of time to get you home to watch Seahawks afterwards. This workshop will be very hands-on, you will learn everything from how to feed your starter to what is discard, stretch and fold and the differences between bulk fermenting and cold fermenting. We will have bread for a sample and everyone will go home with a starter, a cheat sheet of everything that we will learn in the class and hopefully the ability to start making sourdough on your own at home. You also get some delicious coffee and treats from Cedar House Café as part of your workshop fee. Email [email protected] to sign up. Class size is limited so preregistration and prepayment is required.

Stop in and check her pieces out, we are open this week Monday 2 to 6 PM, Thursday and Friday noon to 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 3 PM. Monte Mercantile, 214 South Main St. in Montesano.

This workshop is for anyone who doesn’t like the thought of trying to learn how to paint. Our vendor Molly makes amazing signs and porch leaners with a process that helps you do it without painting. She brings all the supplies to the class. You simply put it together, choose your colors and away you go. She also uses really nice wood that is going to withstand being out in the weather. November 23 6 PM $45 workshop fee. Email us at [email protected], stop in the store or visit our order page to register.
