COUNTDOWN TO TINGLEWOOD FESTIVAL...

The 8th Annual Tinglewood Festival will celebrate "shavings, smoke, and sound" in Montevallo's Orr Park on Saturday, September 12 from 9 AM - 5 PM. This all-woodworking arts festival will also feature live chainsaw carving, live music, children's activities, whittling contest, wooden boat race, classic car and antique tractor show, and more. Free admission!

Tinglewood Festival is inspired by a special section of Orr Park, where local artist Tim Tingle has carved faces and creatures into the dead parts of living cedar trees since a fateful ice storm in 1993. You can meet Tim at the festival and take home some of his art, including mini versions of his famous carved trees!

The 8th Annual Tinglewood Festival will celebrate "shavings, smoke, and sound" in Montevallo's Orr Park on Saturday, September 12 from 9 AM - 5 PM. This all-woodworking arts festival will also feature live chainsaw carving, live music, children's activities, whittling contest, wooden boat race, classic car and antique tractor show, and more. Returning will be a showcase of antique tractors and vintage farm machinery called "Tractors in the Trees." Products manufactured by International Harvester will be featured but all brands of tractors are welcome to display and participate in the show.
