Hot August Nights in the books. Would like to thank everyone that came out and raced with us. There were 29 total entries in 6 classes.

Trey took home the win in Limited Sportsman and TJ finished 3rd. I did a little substitute driving for Mr Ron Schoeb in his Sportsman car and finished 3rd. Finished 3rd in Modified after some mechanical issues.

We raced at Lakeside Speedway back on the 16th. Have not had that much fun in quite a while. TJ and I had good cars and bad results. Trey finished 2nd and was fighting for the lead to the end.

From Clover we headed down to Alabama to race at Lagoon Park Raceway. Spent all day Friday helping my buddy Dave get his car ready for his first race on Saturday. At the race Dave and Trey put on a show with Dave pulling out the win after a late caution.

Arrived home yesterday afternoon and after 6367 miles it was one of the best vacations I have ever had. Everywhere we went we were treated like family. I would like to thank everyone for all their hospitality and restaurant recommendations.

For all the tracks that we did not make rest assured we are in the planning stages to get there. I plan on visiting every track in this great nation of ours.

Had a pretty good turn out at Veteran's Park in Algona, Iowa. Good time racin' with good group of people. Had my own cheering section too when my mom & dad came down from Minnesota and friends from Le Claire joined us at the track also.

Update time...First stop was in Algona IA, and talk about the community standing behind the track. We were buying some water at the local store and they asked if we were with the RC race and they wished us luck. Amazing way to start your day. We all had a rough weekend. It took me all weekend to find the right setup. Then I over drove the car and got caught up in a wreck and bent a rear hiem. Trey had a good car and enjoyed the close racing. TJ was happy to just finish his race. All in all we had a great time and will look forward to returning to this track.

Next stop was at Ingalls IN. for a little Tuesday night racing. This was some of the most fun that I have had in a long time. Lots of side by side racing. A very special thank you to Jerry for letting me run his car. I finished 4th and Trey was right on my heals in 5th. TJ hit the wall trying to avoid a big wreck and broke a hiem ending his night.

Today we made it out to Freddies Hobbies. Had a great time. Not many would stop working to sit down and talking racing and show us around. We even got the cars out and ran some laps. Fun and fast, now we need to figure out a time to come back and do some racing.

We will post some pics in the next few days, we are still trying to catch up on some rest.
