As most of you have seen the wheel failure last night keep in mind we all blow turbos, stick pumps and lay engines on the track and nothing is said about the builder. Let’s keep in mind the number below(20,000). I think we can all agree thats a pretty good percentage of failure.
This is the new wheel ready to go on tomorrow so ther can make their next points hook Wednesday. We appreciated the professionalism in how the team handled this situation. This is motorsports. Just shows nothing is ever guaranteed.
Statement from Keizer wheel below:
Keizer Wheels has elevated the pulling wheel market in both delivery and performance over the last 14 years. Over 20,000 wheel parts have powered our teams to record pull wins without a hitch. Keizer Wheel Development has stepped outside the box to offer a wheel that is much lighter in the 32" size. We consistently search for performance advantages. Above all, motorsport pulling generates an unparalleled amount of force and dynamics that are challenging to simulate in any FEA analysis. Keizer Wheels continuously evaluates and adjusts to advancements within the industry.
A wheel failure that occurred during a hook in Hillsboro with the Gallitz team is an example of pushing the limits of what we thought was possible. Keizer has not yet reviewed the parts in question but is eager to evaluate, learn, and adjust to ensure optimal performance. In the meantime, we firmly stand behind our products and will have the team back pulling this Wednesday with new wheels. No company in the history of pulling has invested more in technology, equipment, research, and design, and we continue to innovate in all these categories.
We look forward to the rest of the season and continuing to lead the world of pulling with unprecedented designs for the entire pulling community. For any questions regarding this or other wheel-related inquiries, please feel free to reach out to our licensed Keizer Wheel distributor or our direct sales and tech team. Thank you all, and see you at the next pull—where we’ll likely take the win!
