In her first year as an assistant high school softball coach, Angel DeClark suffered a brain aneurysm while preparing to head to a tournament. What followed showed the true strength of a community.

We are surrounded by hero’s in this valley. Because of the quick response and care from Bear Lake High School staff, Bear Lake County Ambulance Service, Bear Lake Memorial Health Care, the Intermountain Neuroscience Institute, and an entire army of supporters, Angel is making meaningful progress every day.

Through it all, she has shown us what it truly means to fight. What it means to lead by example. What it means to be an example, and to NEVER give up. She is a true “diamond”.

We are incredibly proud to call her part of our softball team, our family, and our community.

There is a raffle being organized to support Angel and her family. I can promise you—there is not a better cause to stand behind. Thank you for your support, your prayers, and for being part of something bigger.
