Ok! We are starting to move stuff. So we'll be open regular hours today, and then closed probably the rest of the week.

Some stuff has already been moved so please excuse us if you come in today and it's starting to look empty :)

If you haven't heard, The Book Garden is moving to a larger, brighter, nicer space later this month. We've been here for 24 years so it's a bit bittersweet. But we're excited for the future!

Stay tuned for a short film in the next few days to see where we are going.

Our smallest employee, Finn is celebrating an early retirement tomorrow.

Grandma is getting home from a two week vacation. So after 14 days in a row of hard work at the shop, tomorrow will be Finn's last full day.

Thank you to the 39 players who showed up on a random Saturday to draft a set that came out almost 7 years ago. We had a blast tonight and really hope you did too.

Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths was the first Magic set that released after Becky and I bought The Book Garden. It also came out in April of 2020, at the height of the global pandemic. It's crazy to think that this was one of the first chances we have had as a community to play this set in person.

We were also excited to unveil our new play space! A pocket dimension with seating for 32. With both areas combined we now have room for up to 48 attendees. Exciting things are coming in the near future and this is just the first reveal.

***Pics include our new game room, our old game room, some door prizes we gave out, and of course... the best local community we could ask for!
