Greetings Wisdom Community,
It is with mixed feelings that I write to you today. I'm filled with sadness, exhilaration/hope, and gratitude.
As some of you may know, we are closing our store in Monument this coming Thursday, March 24.
From its inception our store was a labor of love. Our vision to be a resource for the Tri-Lakes area, to bring our community together and to provide for them support and knowledge for each member's wellbeing ~ physically, emotionally, and spiritually ~ has been our greatest joy and highest calling. Unfortunately, we simply do not have the resources, both time and money, to continue along the path that we were on. Thus we have decided to close our Monument location.
What comes next you may ask? Well knowing us like many of you do, you know that the spiritual/wellness path is something that Bill and I live and breathe, we could never give that up. For now we are pausing, reflecting, and incubating a new path.
We will keep this page!
We intend to continue to do events and festivals and to sponsor classes and events from our home base.
We still have much to sell and will continue selling merchandise, especially unique, handcrafted, and hard-to-find items. I intend to expand my line of handcrafted, made in the correct time, oils, incense, health and body care products.
Both Bill and I are available for readings and energy healings by appointment.
Mostly we have so much, much more to share in the way of classes, events, healing, mentoring, teaching, etc. I, for one, intend fully to teach and begin writing at some point. Some of the classes that we will sponsor are:
Divination ~ a tool for connecting with the subconscious and
for seeing what's in store.
Energy Healing, including Reiki, tuning forks, crystals
Fitness for Life
Stone Shamanism
Tarot, beginning and advanced
The Sacred Path of the Priestess/Priest ~ learning and
becoming proficient in ceremony, healing, manifesting,
mentoring, serving one's community, spiritual counseling, et al.
This is a starting point, we have many arrows in our quiver and can do classes on a wide variety of Body-Mind-Spirit topics. If you have a suggestion for classes please let us know!
In addition to classes we intend to host events. Over the years we have met many amazing people such as Penny Christensen and Sarina Baptista. We will continue to find leaders in their respective fields and bring them to you. Once our home temple's restoration is completed we will host wheel of the year ceremonies, handfastings and weddings, life celebrations, baby blessings, and rites of passage.
As stated above, we will maintain merchandise and will, as always, be able to do special orders. We are maintaining our store software and sales tax license so contact us if you want to browse our selection or place a special order. Items can be picked up, mailed, or in many cases delivered ~ how is that for service?!
Amid all of these changes we find ourselves deeply grateful, most especially for YOU! You have made the store what it is and have blessed us immeasurable by your uniqueness, your presence in our lives, your stories, and your vision!
