The gallery has had a little refresh—and if you’ve been meaning to stop by Four Corners Framing & Gallery in Downtown Mooresville , now's a great time to come see what’s new.

Kim has been rearranging the gallery, rotating seasonal work and creating new installations that are shining a whole new light on the work of our local artists. We’re bringing forward pieces that can add color, movement, warmth, and welcoming energy to a home in any season.

And yes, we know it’s only September, but some of you are already thinking about the holidays that come with the shift to Autumn. 👀

If you’re preparing your home for hosting, looking for an original piece to finally finish a room, or hoping to give something far more personal this year, local art is worth considering. An original piece of fine art can become part of a family’s home for generations—and supporting local artists means your investment has an impact far beyond the wall it hangs on.

And while you’re making the rounds downtown, the new Artoberfest exhibit is opening at Mooresville Arts today, with many artists represented at Four Corners also participating in the show! We love seeing more reasons to experience original art in person—and more opportunities for our local galleries, artists and arts organizations to support one another and help make Downtown Mooresville an arts destination.

Whether you’re an established art collector, just beginning to build a collection, searching for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, or simply want to spend some time surrounded by great art, come see us in Downtown Mooresville.

This video only features a HINT of the refresh here at Four Corners. We are proud to showcase work from local and regional artists spanning sculptures, stained glass, landscapes, abstracts, figurative work, coastal scenes and more. There is much more to see once you walk through the gallery doors at 148 N Main St right in the heart of

Summer may have fully slipped into Autumn, but Joy and Serenity by local artist Miranda Leaver make a pretty convincing case for keeping some color around.

Both paintings explore what Leaver describes as “the calm found within life”—bright, happy works that still leave room for a .

Joy is the louder of the two, with a hot coral base that fluctuates between red and pink, layered in loose, gestural marks of orange, red, lemon yellow, aqua, deep blue, fresh green, and golden metallic accents. The lines cross, overlap and intersect without ever feeling rigid, giving the whole piece a kind of playful rhythm and movement.

Serenity feels quieter, but no less alive. Layers of aqua and green shift across the surface like light moving through ocean water, with metallic gold, vivid orange-red marks and even traces of star-like marks scattered throughout.

They’re rich in color, movement and energy, yet grounded in a sense of peace. The kind of pieces that can carry a little bit of Summer shimmer and energy into your home even as the season starts to change.

And if you haven’t heard—Four Corners also carries a selection of M.E. Leaver’s wearable art, including clutches and scarves inspired by her original work!

Joy and Serenity are available to collect now at Four Corners Framing & Gallery. Come see the colors, texture and metallic details in person, or reach out to us at 704.662.7154 for more information.

Calling 📞 Come spend Friday evening with your local arts community! 🎨

This Friday, September 18, Four Corners Framing and Gallery , Juelerye, Artisan Gallery & Fine Gifts , and Mooresville Arts are opening our doors for a FREE Gallery Crawl—and we’d love to see you making your way down Main Street.

We’re teaming up to host a FREE evening of culture and conversation, refreshments, and local artist demonstrations—and you don’t have to be an art collector (yet 😉) to come enjoy it.

Outside of literally being good for your mental health and well-being...attending gallery crawls and events like this are also an easy (and free!) way to support the creative community. When you visit local galleries, meet local artists, and collect local work, you’re helping artists continue to create while supporting the galleries and small businesses that make a thriving local arts scene possible.

And the more people who show up for the arts in Downtown Mooresville, the more we can keep creating opportunities to gather around them.

Today we marked the 25th anniversary of September 11 with a morning of remembrance, beginning at Richard’s Coffee Shop and continuing with the silent walk and memorial ceremony at Liberty Park.

We are honored to share that remembrance continues through the 9/11 Walking Art Exhibit, with work by ten artists displayed across Richard's Coffee Shop Mooresville Arts and Four Corners on display thru the end of September.

Here at Four Corners, you can see:
- Field of Flags by Karl Dueland Photography
- Back to Basics Art Bar by Jodi Lynn Pottery
- Remembered by Tracy Gansrow Artvision

Each approaches memorial and honor from a different direction, and together they’re part of a larger exhibit spread throughout downtown.

Also currently on display at Four Corners is this collaborative work created by middle school students in the Crosby Scholars Iredell County program. The project gave students an opportunity to learn about careers in the arts while spending time with local arts organizations—Four Corners, Mooresville Arts and Juelerye, Artisan Gallery & Fine Gifts and now their own work has been on display in three galleries too.

Two very different displays, but both are reminders of what art can hold: history, memory, community, and the voices of the next generation.

Have you ever wondered what makes Canvas & Cab at Four Corners Framing & Gallery unique?

Yes, there’s w**e. Yes, there’s charcuterie. And yes, you’ll leave with your own 11x14 painting—but the core of Canvas & Cab is the art experience itself.

Our monthly two-hour classes are taught by Mrs. G, a professional arts educator with a Master of Fine Arts and years of experience teaching AP Art right here in our local community. Rather than just recreating an image, you’ll spend the evening learning from an artist and educator who can help you understand the WHY behind each brushstroke.

You’ll explore technique, color, composition and the process of building a painting with the real takeaway being the skills and knowledge to actually create.

Our next Canvas & Cab is September 17, and your $50 registration includes all materials, an 11x14 painting created by YOU, w**e and charcuterie.

Canvas & Cab is now scheduled through the end of the year (September 17, October 15, November 12, December 10), so if you’ve been looking for something a little more creative to do with a friend, a date, or just for yourself, come spend an evening making art with us.

Reserve your spot for September 17 today at 704-662-7154—these classes fill fast!

Interested in a private event? Family get-togethers, Corporate & Team Building, and other events can be scheduled.
