We had to take a step back to show you the amount of work it takes to get the concrete just right and smooth. Specifically, the time and effort that this man put in to making the basement just right was astounding. This will just be the first reel of how awesome he works.

The entrance of the house is what people see and enter through first so we had to show the process of pouring cement for the front stoop! Plus we love the boom truck and couldn’t get enough of it!

Now that the walls were poured and dried, it’s time for the basement floor to be prepped for cement to come. It was interesting on how they had to level the gravel, build a channel down the middle and then covered it all with plastic. Our favorite part was watching one of the workers take his break on the side of the wall mid video.

It’s so amazing to see how buildings are built and pouring the basement walls was no disappointment!
We were particularly impressed by the man who scaled the top of the wall, the whole time guiding the cement into the forms.
