I want to thank you all for making this season happen for me and the bait shop. I appreciate each and every one of you!! And how cool was it (no pun intended) to have so much good ice and yet enough snow to keep the snowmobilers happy too. I'll keep this FB page updated and hope to see you in the Spring with some big native goldens. This picture is an oldy but one of my favorites!! Happy trails and thanks again! Sincerely, Sue Draper

Just to let people know, we are open for the 2025/2026 season. I finally put our signs out yesterday. As always, feel free to call ahead. 802-895-2696 (land line - no texts). Thanks.

We ended the season yesterday with very little bait left in the tank and nobody went without. It couldn't have worked out better. I want to thank you all for your support and smiling faces this year. Happy trails and perhaps we'll see you in April.

Yum, fish for lunch. 😍
Well, this year is starting out as another weird weather winter, and Seymour is struggling to make ice, given this week's wind and snow, but other places around us are doing just fine. We are well stocked and have native shiners again this year too. There are many fishing derbies coming up in our area, and I have attached a link to the VT F&W list. Happy fishing and as usual please be safe!!

Well, I'm a little late for my spring fishing bait shop post, but yes, we do have some beautiful native shiners in the tank along with an occasional sucker or two. No set hours this time of year, so as always, feel free to call ahead (895-2696). ALSO, if anyone has a canoe trailer for sale, please let me know. I have somebody looking for one.
Thanks. Sue & Larry Draper

As we wind down another crazy winter, and the ice is fading fast, we thank all of our customers, neighbors, and friends for your support. We still have some live shiners while they last, and frozen ones too 😁, but shop hours will be hit or miss. As always, feel free to call 802-895-2696. Happy trails to all. Sue & Larry Draper

Happy holidays to you all and best wishes for the new year.
Sue and Larry Draper.

Hi all. I want to thank everyone for another enjoyable season at our bait shop despite this year's challenging weather conditions. Same as last year, we will have live bait available year-round, and probably some frozen shiners too for set lines if desired. For all you hardcore pike fishermen and women, I have a fresh batch of jumbo shiners and other sizes available too. Thanks again and safe travels all.
