❤️ From our family to our community — THANK YOU! ❤️

Yesterday was a pretty special day for us. We opened the doors to Homemade Hinrichs Market for the very first time, and seeing people stop by, visit, look around, ask questions, make purchases, and simply show their support meant more to us than we can put into words.

Starting something new is always a little nerve-racking, but having our neighbors, friends, family, and community come out to support us made yesterday feel pretty darn special. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who came out. Whether you bought something or just stopped to say hello, please know that we appreciate you being there.

And this is only the beginning. ❤️

We have a lot of ideas for Homemade Hinrichs Market, and there are plenty of things we hope to eventually have available. We know we won’t have everything out right away, but we’re going to keep working at it, adding things as we go, and hopefully turning this into something our little community can enjoy for years to come.

We also really want to hear from YOU!

If there’s something you’d love to see in the market — homemade foods, baked goods, crafts, wood items, seasonal things, or something we haven’t even thought of yet — please keep those suggestions coming!

This isn’t just something we’re building for ourselves. We want it to be something that feels like a part of our community. ❤️

A little glimpse into our Wednesday night. 🫙🍎

Tonight’s lineup: pickled garlic, pickled brussels sprouts, and apples running through the steam juicer. 🧄🌱🍎

The counters are full, the canner has been working overtime, and the pantry keeps getting a little fuller.

Gather it. Preserve it. Enjoy it. Repeat. ❤️

Now it’s time to sit down and enjoy a glass of fresh apple juice. 🍎🥃

Sometimes when you’re in the middle of it all, it’s easy to only see the work.

Then you look back at the pictures. ❤️

We built this together, but we never expected everything that would come along with it—the experiences, the people who became friends, watching our kids find their own interests, and all the memories made in between.

Some days it’s overwhelming. Some days we wonder what we’ve gotten ourselves into. 😂

But then we look at something like this and remember why we keep doing it.

We’re grateful for what we’ve built together, and even more grateful for everything we never expected to find along the way.
