Who knows what a Noodle Board is?

A noodle board gets its name from its historical use as a dedicated wooden flat surface used by home cooks to roll, shape, and cut homemade pasta noodles.

I’ve read when wood stoves were the only way to cook… the women had a piece of wood that stood beside the stove. When they needed to make pasta, knead bread, etc they would lay the piece of wood on top of the wood stove for use.
As for our times… people use them as a decorative cover for the stove when the stove isn’t in use.
