Sorry y’all! I am postponing the DIY Upcycle Day for another date TBD. I am going to be honest with you- I am behind on preparing and advertising for this. And I don’t want to host a day of diy without giving it our best!

We’ll still do it and it will be even better than we planned. So stay tuned for a new date and time.

We truly appreciate all your support today for our 2nd Saturday Art Market. Home game days are tough on our little downtown and we had a good turnout for today! ❤️🫶

Heads up friends- a couple of changes for THIS Saturday!

🧵 Due to the expected rain we have moved Lory & cillycitrus inside for our Art Market 10-3

🧶 Because of this we have rescheduled our DIY Upcycle Stations to Sunday!

✂️ The Greatful Bread will still be here Saturday out front - help sell her out before the rain rolls in.

🖌️ AND we are having a Shop Hop with our neighbors that encourage sustainability! 6 chances to win prizes, support local businesses and keep stuff out of the landfill. 😉

Natalie of cillycitrus creates art with the sun! She chooses thrifted pieces to turn into botanical cyanotype sun-prints that you can wear. If the sun cooperates Natalie will also be offering a free cyanotype postcard DIY! 🤞🌞

It’s a sustainability pop-up this Saturday! DIY stations to upcycle your own garments, local upcycle artists with diverse styles, and you can snag your sourdough from The Greatful Bread during the event (until sold out).

-Bring your own garment(s) to upcycle with paint, patches, hand-stitching, block printing, buttons and more! Cover holes, stains or just make a piece more “you” instead of trashing or donating. $5 per garment - go wild!

-Lory Osborn upcycles quilts and vintage linens into apparel and adds our great state of WV to many of her thrifted jean jackets & blazers - only found at Hoot & Howl!

Here it is, the full schedule for the 2026 Monongalia County Fair! The first fair at our new permanent fairgrounds at 72 Adena Drive, off of Walnut Hill Road just off Route 7.
