For generations, the Green River Catfish Festival has been where friends catch up, families make memories, and kids enjoy one of the best weekends of summer.

This year, we’re proud to bring back a piece of that history with a reproduction of the original “Catfish Capital of the World” sign that welcomed visitors to Morgantown decades ago.

Looking at it brings back memories of fishing tournaments, pageants, terrapin races, carnival rides, good food, and seeing people you haven’t run into since last year’s festival.

In a world that seems to move a little faster every year, you can still count on the Green River Catfish Festival to bring people together. It’s a chance to catch up with old friends, let the kids reconnect with classmates they haven’t seen all summer, and make a few new memories along the way.

We hope you’ll join us July 2–4 at the Green River Fairgrounds as we celebrate another year of tradition, community, and summertime fun.

We are beyond thankful to be able to provide, free of charge, all the U12/U10/U8 players and coaches with an All-Star shirt to rep their team! We strive to put the Hometown feel in Hometown Trophy every way we can!

Look at that new sign for Diaz Ranchito! Man it looks good…what an upgrade! JD was amazing to work with. Hometown Trophy was blessed to work with him every step of the way to ensure his new sign design was perfect. From design to install we helped JD get his new backlit sign just how he wanted it.
