It's hard to say which we are more obsessed with the mug or the new chocolate chunk marshmallow. In addition to being obsessed with two things at the same time, we are internally fighting which story to share. But let's go with the one that explains how the Morning Mallow Club originated.

Long before marshmallows in our cups, I watched Papa Steve put cocoa in his coffee. This started happening around the time I entered college. Picture it,a young, tired college student who really just wants to take a nap but actually has to head to their next class. Desperate for a jolt of anything, staring at a Mr. Coffee machine wondering if coffee was the answer. Papa Steve has never stirred us wrong in life this far, so why not try his go to morning beverage, coffee with cocoa, a Papa Steve Mocha if you will. Probably back then it was more cocoa to coffee but the further the semester went the less cocoa and more caffeine it became. Back in those days... 2006... You didn't have all those fancy coffee creamers we got now.

And that my friends is how Stephanie's caffeine journey began. Fast forward to December 2019, where we find myself not standing in front of a Mr. Coffee machine but a Keurig with a container of homemade marshmallows and the lightbulb goes off...

COCOA + MARSHMALLOWS = GOOD

COCOA + COFFEE = GOOD

COFFEE + MARSHMALLOWS = HAS TO BE GOOD

Turns out, that beautiful bit of coffee math was absolutely right.

Coffee and marshmallows? A perfect pair.

The Morning Mallow Club was officially born... even if it only had one very enthusiastic member. A club of one for only a short time.
