*Hammered floral art, also known as flower pounding, plant bashing, or tataki-zomé, is a creative technique where you use a hammer or mallet to smash fresh flowers and leaves onto paper or fabric. The force breaks the plant cells and stamps their natural liquid dyes into the surface.
