I'm trying to get back into the swing of posting some Instagram things and I can't help but want to share some of my Safari trip! Here's a happy elephant splashing about when it made it to the watering hole. There are so many animals around the water it's amazing to sit and watch.

I have lots of projects in the works that will put posting back into that mode of gear, knots, rigging and critters... But until then, enjoy some other animals on a different type of exploration.

Hi friends! I've been gone for the entire month of August on a magical trip that included critters, exploration, education, and social interaction with great people in an incredible place.

We took a Safari trip in Botswana and I have lots of field notes and adventures to share. I probably won't go through the entire trip, but I might share a few key moments as I transition back into my artwork, sewing and preparing for a market coming up in October.

Don't worry... There will be more ropes, knots and gear as they will always be part of my passions. But so is exploration and animals-lol. Here is our first time seeing some lions. 🦁

Howdy all! I've been away from socials while on a trip of a lifetime! Melgarita was on a mobile Safari in Botswana and everyday was truly amazing. I might be sharing animal pics as I reintegrate into socials and such. What does this have to do with tech rescue and rope? Nothing... But it is about curiosity and adventure.

The next few posts might be a little different sort of field guide, but I'll get back to mechanical advantage, knots, and gearlandia soon. Stick with me- Until then enjoy some elephants.
