Fleece to skein, all but the green one. Scour, dye, card, hand comb, spin, ply, wash.

The green skein is all the remnants from dyed top one season, drum carded together.

Processing fleeces-- the right is drum carded, the left i combed after the drum carder for stellar results.

Taking time to explore the possibilities and my tools, I have had these mini combs for 10+ years and this is the first time I have made time to use them and open myself to their possibilities. The results tell me my annual spinning output might be way lower this year, but of way better quality.

Fresh warp chains for some towels a la Jane Stafford school of weaving. Inspired for an 8 shaft project after The Straight 8 class I took at MAWS (Montana assoc of weavers and spinners)
Turned twill, I bet this weave has a good rhythm.
Also, it looks like I post pics of new warps here but forget to follow up with finished products. See what I can do about that.

The lease sticks slide between the ties on the castle and the back beam, making the cross accessible and easy to use.
