We are a local music retailer that is also international. Though they often work as a team, since 1979 Joe Sellmansberger has specialized in brass repair & sales and Debra Sellmansberger has specialized in woodwind repair & sales. Mid-South Music also offers some school percussion sales & repair, as well as bowed stringed instruments for students. Though no longer brick-and-mortar, Mid-South Music

maintains an amazing selection of solos, etude books, and class method books, and keeps a nice selection of competitively-priced accessories in stock. This is a very handsome red stained maple German-made Schreiber bassoon outfitted with a high D key and sold with two bocals (one no-name, and one stamped FOX, both were tested and deemed suitable to this particular instrument).
It's been completely repadded by our bassoonist repair tech, and plays as new.
The condition of the finish is very close to new. As seen from the pictures, it's loaded with accessories, with even a couple of playable (tested and sterilized) reeds to get the buyer started immediately.
We have moved this bassoon into a Fox case in good condition, as shown.

Meet Mr. Chester McKinney, age 83 - one of 11 children (one of whom fought and died in WWII). Mr. McKinney is still playing some trombone and flute, still teaching a jazz workshop for kids in his home town, still serves as administrator of the Sunday school programs at his church. He's a retired band director and had received recognition by the local band director association for his service to his students and to the community.

He owns a King valve trombone, but - years ago - he saw my (personal) California-made F. E. Olds and Son valve trombone in our (former) brick-and-mortar store, and really liked it. All these years later, he called and asked if I still had it and if I might be interested in selling it.

(I'm still using it.) He had since bought an Olds at the eBay site, but it came with a non-original (beginner model) Olds "Ambassador" bell section - which is only 7-1/2 inches in diameter (small sound). My original bell is 8 inches in diameter. I told him that I DO have a gold-brass (highly engraved) Olds bell (only) from a fancy Olds model called "Recording", and that bell is 8-1/2 inches in diameter.

He got excited. We made an appointment. I installed the "Recording" bell on his "Ambassador" bell section, and put a finish on it.

(Mr. McKinney is a really nice man, so I charged him a really low price.) He seems really happy. He says that his valve trombone now sounds "bigger".

Particularly with US domestic band instrument production continuing to retreat - and quite a few of the Asian manufacturers not particularly enthusiastic about supplying parts - we view this top-tier company as essential, as well as the fact that they totally know their business.
