There are some people in this world whose love becomes the heartbeat of an entire family. Our Grandma was one of those rare souls.

One of the hardest things to do is say goodbye to one of the most precious grandmas we could have ever been blessed with.

Our hearts are heavy with grief, but they are also overflowing with gratitude for the years, the memories, the wisdom, the laughter, and the unconditional love she gave to us so freely.

She taught us that family always comes first and that everyone was family even if you weren’t blood related. That a warm meal can heal more than hunger and she would fill your plate so full it overflowed or refill your plate before you could say no. She taught us that the smallest acts of kindness often leave the biggest mark and to never expect anything in return.

Her legacy lives on in the traditions she started and the values she instilled.
We are all so fortunate enough to call her Grandma, and to all of us she was Grandma #1.

These next few days are going to be the hardest. Losing this amazing woman is one of the toughest things we will ever go through. We will take our time to grieve, celebrate her beautiful life, and lean on one another and remember all the treasured moments we got to spend with her.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with prayers, kind words, meals, hugs, and support. Every gesture has meant more than you know.

Grandma #1- your hands may be at rest, but the love you planted in this family will continue to grow for generations. Until we meet again, we’ll carry you in our hearts every single day.
