Except for one tiny little detail…

I wrote SEPTEMBER at the top. 🤦‍♀️😂

It is, in fact, October. 🍂🎃

Apparently my brain got all the important information right and then decided the MONTH was just a suggestion. 😂

So if you get the newsletter and see “September” staring back at you… just know that everything else is right and I promise I know what month it is. 🤣

Saturday? No, no… around here (at Heathers house) it’s CATURDAY! 😂

Just doing a little quality control on the ironing board. Making sure the fabric squares are properly inspected, the ironing is up to standard, and absolutely NO sewing gets done without feline supervision. 🐾🧵

Because apparently, every sewing project needs a cat sitting directly in the middle of it. 😹

A Little Farewell to Amanda 💕

We put together a video collage of Amanda’s farewell party, and we wanted to share some of those special moments with all of you!

Amanda has been such a wonderful part of our Country Fabrics family. From helping customers to sharing laughs and making memories, she has brought so much joy to our shop. While we’re sad to see her move on to a new chapter, we’re excited for all the wonderful things ahead of her.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and make her farewell so special. Your kindness and friendship mean so much to all of us.

Amanda, we’ll miss seeing you around the shop, but we’re so grateful for the time we’ve had together. You’ll always have a place in our Country Fabrics family! We love you and wish you all the best! ❤️

A little look inside the Grant County Fair! 🎡🧵

We’re sharing some pictures from the quilting section, along with the two departments that Country Fabrics had the honor of decorating and setting up this year: Machine Sewing and Creative Fabric Arts.

Casey took on the responsibility of being the Superintendent of the Machine Sewing and Creative Fabric Arts departments. Casey, Amanda, Robert and myself (Heather) are so happy with how the area turned out. Robert help hang the lattice up, Amanda showed up with her creativity to decorative, I came to judge and decorative. Then Casey filled in and did all the fun and hard things in between it all. If you she Casey, please let her know how well she did on this!

It’s always fun to see the creativity, time, and hard work that goes into all the fair entries. We love getting to see the beautiful quilts, sewing, embroidery, and handmade projects that our community brings in each year.

Thank you to everyone who entered their work and helped make the Grant County Fair such a fun celebration of creativity! 🧵✨
