I will never forget where I was on 9/11

A friend called and told me to turn on the TV and we stayed staring in disbelief, on the phone together, saying nothing, and sobbing as the plane hit the second tower

Heartbroken and terrified for everyone at scenes of the different events. I was full of confusion and chaos, not sure what was happening

I will always remember the ordinary people who reached out to help others in need and the first responders who went in when everyone was trying to get out
