In this salon, we talk about Jesus. 🤍
We pray for each other. We bear each other’s burdens. We celebrate the wins, walk through the hard seasons, love on each other’s babies, and do a whole lot of hair in between.
There are kids running around, clients coming and going, laughter, hard conversations, prayers, and a whole lot of real life happening inside these walls.
Southern Roots was never meant to be just a salon.
We won’t hide our faith to make it more comfortable. We’ll lead with it—and we’ll love people well because of it.
You don’t have to believe exactly like we do to sit in our chair. You don’t have to have it all together to walk through our doors.
Come as you are. Bring the kids. Bring the good news. Bring the hard season.
Jesus is welcome here.

One year. A baby on my hip. And a word from God. 🤍

In the last year, we opened our Head Spa.�Hired a nail tech.�Welcomed more stylists.�Hired an aesthetician.�Opened Grounded Coffee Co.�Launched our extension brand.�Expanded our team again and again.�And now… we bought a coffee trailer.

All while raising a baby, raising a family, and learning that when God speaks a word over something, you don’t have to understand exactly how He’s going to do it—you just have to be willing to say yes.

There were so many moments when the vision felt bigger than me. And it was.
Because it was never supposed to be about what I could build.

God spoke the word.�We took the next step.�And He has been faithful every. single. time.

A year ago, I couldn’t have told you all that was coming. But He knew.
Baby on my hip. Faith in my heart. One yes at a time.God gets ALL the glory. 🤍

And in the middle of it all, I still know He’s just getting started.

We added two new fall drinks to round out our fall coffee lineup, and these might be some of our favorites yet. 🤎

🍪 Toasted Biscoff
Can’t decide between campfire or Biscoff cookie crunch? Neither could we… so we made the perfect combo. 🤤 Biscoff cookie flavor with a toasted marshmallow top for the ultimate cozy fall drink.

🎃 Pumpkin Cheesecake
Creamy pumpkin cheesecake topped with whipped cream + pumpkin drizzle. Basically fall in a cup. 🍁

✨ Toppings are always optional! If you want the full topped experience, just make sure to add them when ordering.

Which one are you trying first — Toasted Biscoff or Pumpkin Cheesecake?

☕️ A little Grounded Coffee clarification! 🤎
We’ve had a few questions lately, so we wanted to make sure everyone knows exactly what they’re ordering!

✨ ABOUT THE TOPPINGS:
A lot of the coffees you see photographed on our page have cold foam, whipped topping, drizzles, etc. added for the photo. These do not automatically come on every drink.

Because we serve guests with dairy allergies and different preferences, we only add cold foam or whipped topping when it is specifically ordered. If it isn’t on our ticket, our baristas will not automatically add it.

So if you want the pretty extras you see in the pictures — just tell us! 🤎 We’re happy to add them!

⚡️ NOW LET’S TALK ESPRESSO…
We’ve noticed quite a few orders coming through with extra shots added, and when we’ve called to double-check, some of you didn’t realize how much espresso is already in your Grounded coffee! 😂

Our standard lattes already come with:

☕️ 16 oz — 2 shots of espresso
☕️ 24 oz — 4 shots of espresso

We are ALL about the caffeine around here 😂 but if you add “extra shots” to your order, those are being added on top of what already comes in your drink!

Of course, if that’s what you want — we’ve got you! ⚡️😂 We just wanted to make sure everyone knew what was already included.

As many of you may have seen, we have officially taken ownership of The Juice Box! So… what does that mean for you?!

Last year, while on maternity leave with Spencer Kate, I made the decision to take a leap of faith and add Head Spa services to Southern Roots. I purchased our very first Head Spa table, not knowing just how much that one decision would grow. 🤍

So it only feels fitting that this year, on her birthday, the Lord blessed us with another opportunity to expand our business—only this time, it’s with Grounded Coffee Co. ☕️

There’s something so special about watching the Lord open doors in His timing. What started as an idea last year has grown into so much more than I could have imagined, and now we’re stepping into another new season.

We have LOTS of information coming soon, and I cannot wait to share what’s next for Grounded. ☕️🧃🍎🥣

Another leap of faith. Another answered prayer. Another door opened.

👀☕ HWY 63… WE HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU!

We’ve been tossing around an idea and want to see if our community would actually USE it before we make any big decisions. 🤎

We’re considering a Grounded Coffee Co. mobile trailer with the possibility of launching around mid-September.

The idea? A trailer that could come to local events AND potentially set up in the Hwy 63 area EARLY in the mornings for those heading toward Ingalls, Chevron + work down 63.
But we need to know if the demand is there!
