We would like to inform our valued customers that starting in September , we will be adjusting our Saturday hours. Our establishment will now close at 12 PM on Saturdays. Sourwood in the bucket!!!!
This year has been exceptional for us, filled with both hard work and the promise of more to come. After countless hours of dedication, we’ve finally collected sourwood honey—now carefully stored in buckets. The fruits of our labor are evident, as we extracted an incredible 107 gallons of pure sourwood honey—a feat we are immensely proud of. The old timers in the area often say that a truly excellent sourwood season only comes once every seven years. If their wisdom holds true, we might not witness a harvest of this caliber again for quite some time. This notion adds a layer of appreciation to our current bounty, reminding us to savor every drop of this remarkable honey. Our success this year is not just about the quantity, but also about the quality that sourwood is known for. Looking forward, we are aware that the process of beekeeping and honey extraction demands constant effort and attention.
