******WEATHER FORECAST for******
******Sunday, June 14th, 2026******

The forecast for Sunday is looking good, but it will be a bit warm later in the day. Temps start out at 73 degrees at 6 a.m. with no wind. It increases to 81 degrees by 9 a.m but comes with a nice 5 mph breeze. Partly cloudy all day. Reaches 91 degrees by noon.

We are in the process of tearing down some older buildings on the property. Pardon any mess we leave in the wake of the process. Just trying to upgrade a bit by tearing down a tad. It will all eventually work out for the better. ๐Ÿ˜Š

We should be full tomorrowโ€ฆ just bring a big smile and a little money to spend. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ต. Should be a great day at the Flea Market!

See everyone Sunday!!! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜

******WEATHER FORECAST for******
******Sunday, May 31st, 2026******

The forecast for Sunday looks really good! It has become extremely difficult to decipher the various sources of weather predictions. But, this Sunday looks solid. If it changes significantly, we will update this post. But for nowโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜Š

Awesome weather! Partly cloudy with temps in the low sixty-degree range until about 9 a.m., then 67 degrees by 10 a.m. leading to a cool 71 degrees by noon. ๐Ÿ‘ Not too hot. Not too cold. NO RAIN! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

It will be a pleasant day out for the dogs, the kids, the wives, husbands and the entire neighborhood. Nothing like a flea market gathering with close friends and friendly strangers. ๐Ÿ˜

It is supposed to rain mid-day on Saturday. This means no dust! It also means I will be on the John Deere smoothing out the washes late Saturday afternoon till dark. So, give me a shout-out and horn blow when you see the tractor blading down the walkways! ๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿ‘‹

We are expecting a large crowd. Just bring a few dollars and big smile! ๐Ÿ˜Thatโ€™s all you will need. See everyone Sunday!! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

*************UPDATE*************
*****For Sunday, May 24, 2026***

The forecast seems to have finally settled down. Right now (see attached), it appears the rain threat ends about 3 a.m. and remains under 20% chance until about 1 p.m. when the threat raises to 37%.

I seriously donโ€™t think they know. Even so, the forecast has been trending for the better and when this happens, generally, it doesnโ€™t rain at all. It happens a lot.

Best guess, at worst case we get a 5 minute shower at some point and thatโ€™s it. Guess we will wait and see.

Happy Memorial Day!! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ‡

Yes. WE ARE OPEN!!!!

Great news! The possibility for rain has moved out to 3 p.m. with only late afternoon thunder-bumblers. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐ŸปIt will be cloudy with mild temps in the 60s and 70s.

โ€˜Nuff said! Itโ€™s going be another fantastic day at the flea market. Come on down. Lots of seasonal vendors coming this Sunday to complement our regular stable of great vendorsโ€ฆ which means great deals! ๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ˜‰

Weโ€™re looking forward to seeing a lot of smiles and giggles! โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜Ž

*****WEATHER FORECAST FOR******
******Sunday, May 17th, 2026*******

We have PERFECT weather this Sunday for the Flea Market!!! Mild to warm temps, partly cloudy and a cool breeze. Just doesnโ€™t get much better. We should have a great crowd. We have some new vendors this week (casual vendors) โ€ฆthis means Spring cleaning โ€œfindsโ€ on display which means great deals. ๐Ÿค—

We hope our Flea Market deer (new mascot) shows up again to join-inโ€ฆ a real crowd favorite when he (Buck) decides to pay us a visit. Our feral cat, chicken and rooster get lonely without a โ€œBuckโ€ for company! ๐ŸฆŒ๐Ÿคฃ

We did some mowing, a little blade work on the roads and cleaned up top to bottom. BTWโ€ฆDonโ€™t forget to check out the new pork chops and barbecue chicken ๐Ÿ— (spot where the pork skins guy was). It is delicious!

Looking forward to seeing all our visitors Sunday. Bring a smile and a few bucks. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’ต Itโ€™s going to be a perfect day to roam around and find those deals. Can hardly wait!! See everyone Sunday. ๐Ÿ˜Š

*****WEATHER FORECAST FOR******
******Sunday, May 10th, 2026******

The important first update is NO RAIN on Sunday!! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ˜

The forecast has held steady all week with rain all day Sunday starting at 5 a.m. Then, it changed to 8 a.m., then it started at 9 a.m. Then it was only scattered showers from 10 to 11 a.m. And yes, we needed the rain this week for sure. Well, guess what? It has now changed to NO rain for Sunday! (We can hear the ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป now!)

Someone has some pull with the Weather Gods (maybe all you Mothers out there? It is Motherโ€™s Day after all!) and we much appreciate your support and prayers! You, whomever you are, are quite potent. Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜

It will be mostly cloudy at 5 a.m., 61 degrees, 1 mph wind and a mere 12% chance for showers. Sunshine breaks out about 10 a.m. with a whopping 2 mph breeze, 4% chance for showers and only gets better from thereโ€ฆ 77-degree temps at noon, partly sunny with a 3-mph breeze and 2% chance for any precipitation. Perfect!! ๐Ÿคฉ

It is going to be a great Spring Motherโ€™s Day for a flea marketโ€ฆ and we are expecting a crowd!

Now, FOR SOME UPDATESโ€ฆ

First, if you were at the flea market last Sunday you likely saw the young buck (deer) roaming around the flea market unafraid and friendly. ๐ŸฆŒ He was beautiful! Everyone got to pet the young fellow and he seemed comfortable and at home. Well, it turns out, the little fellow has been hunkered down in the woods next to a small watering hole on the property. No backstory or explanation as to why he is so friendly and unafraidโ€ฆ but, he is and he is still there. Hopefully he will come out again this Sunday and visit us again. ๐Ÿค—

We already have one chicken, one rooster, and one cat that call the Flea Market home. We would love to add this great deer to our growing list of mascots! Maybe some of the vendors will bring him some feed to chomp on during his visitation! (hint)

Second, the rain did a little washing in the roads this weekโ€ฆ not bad, but we will be blading down the walkways to smooth it out a bit this morning. This means no dust because of the rain this week and smooth sailing for the carts and wheelchairs thanks to my John Deere. ๐Ÿšœ

Third, a reminder and a big thanks to our vendors for NOT filling our trash cans and dumpsters with their leftovers and boxes. Your attention to this has made a huge difference in the volume. Just a loud shout-out to you all for helping out with this. You guys are great! Thanks so much. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Fourth, it seems many of you have yet to discover our new food vendor. The Mexican restaurant expanded their menu a bit. They now have great pork chops and chicken in the old spot where โ€œBuckโ€ the pork skins vendor was located. The chicken legs are huge and the pork chops are marinated in some awesome sauce and delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop by Sergioโ€™s spot and try the pork chops and chicken. You will be glad you did! ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ–

So, nuff said. It is going to be another great day at the Flea Market. Come on out for your Motherโ€™s Day shopping and bring your Moms!!! ๐ŸŒธ We expect an early crowd with lots of smiles and giggles. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคญ Canโ€™t wait. See everyone there! ๐Ÿฆฎ๐Ÿ›๏ธโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿคฉ

********Sunday, May 3rd, 2026******

Sunday forecast is looking fine. The much needed rain weโ€™ve all been praying for will be done by today (Saturday). Yay!! A bit chilly early, but sunny all day! โ˜€๏ธ43 degrees at 6 a.m. & 64 at noonโ€ฆ only a slight breeze. Yep, thatโ€™s good deal huntโ€™en weather right there! ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿค—

Also, we have larger than normal reservations by some of our twice-a-year vendorsโ€ฆ they always have some great finds and deals. ๐Ÿค

โ€˜Nuff said. Going to be a great outing at the flea market Sunday. See you there! ๐Ÿฆฎ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š

*********WEATHER REPORT********
*******Sunday April 26th, 2026*****

โ€ฆโ€ฆ.And a short class in weather forecasting.

It used to be that the weather forecast was a logical prediction of what the weather was going to do. Then it turned into a diagnosis of what was causing the weather. Then it turned into a likely prognosis of what should happen. But now? Now it is Mr. Taylor (turned weather analyst) trying to evaluate five sources (that usually disagree), scratching his old head, and trying to make sense of it all. So, hereโ€™s my best shot. Bear with me.

It looks awesome.

The atmospheric conditions in the Southeast have been promoting scattered cloud formations in higher elevations. The dry air mass close to the ground in-turn dissipates the cloudsโ€™ moisture quickly. So, the clouds pop up and quickly disappear. This makes the hourly forecast very difficult to predictโ€ฆ thus it changes frequently.

I say it currently looks awesome for three reasons:

1) Without the sunshine, the clouds are going to deliver some rain late Saturday night around 9 pm to about 11 pm then the rain stops. This will reduce the dust immensely for Sunday morning (applause please). ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

2) The wind will only be a slight breeze (thankfully unlike last Sunday) so the atmosphere above us isnโ€™t churning up cloud cover and moisture.

3) The high-pressure front moving through the Southeast (that is moisture pushing down) is dissipating when it confronts the low-pressure system (that is moisture pressing up) currently over our area. This sort of condition can cause some pop-up showers here and there but short-lived (measured in minute durations).

However, as of 9 am on Saturday (right now) the forecast has our area looking good with very little chance of any showers for Sunday (see forecast attached). There is still a small chance of scattered showers at 5 am and 6 amโ€ฆ.but, the rest of the morning looks great. The result? As the sun warms things up on Sunday the probability of rain goes down to single-digit probability and goes from partly cloudy to mostly sunny. (more applause)๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Temps are mild, starting at 61 degrees and warming to 75 degreesโ€ฆ and that sounds awesome. ๐Ÿ˜Š

My conclusionโ€ฆ.no dust, no rain, no wind and a good dose of sunshine. โ˜€๏ธ This calls for a celebration ๐Ÿฅณ and lots of smiles ๐Ÿค— with a loud applause ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป by vendors and visitors! โ€ฆAnd that, in-turn, causes a loud โ€œYippieโ€ from us all. ๐Ÿ˜

See you all Sunday. Itโ€™s going to be a great day. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ›๏ธ

*********WEATHER REPORT for*******
********Sunday, April 19, 2026********

We have been experiencing some strange weather patterns for a while now. It has been in the 90โ€™s all week and will continue through Saturday. It has been quite hot out there. But, not Sunday! It will be cloudy, but NO CHANCE of rain. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป It starts out at a comfortable 68 degrees and cools off to 64 degrees by noon. Yes!!

Bring a sweater if you are cold natured or a tee shirt if you arenโ€™t! Gonna be a nice day. Expecting a good crowd. We will see you all there! ๐Ÿ˜Š
