📚 Just added to MagicMethods.com: a shelf full of previously owned magic books!
There’s only one copy of each available. Many are in good to fine condition, and each website listing has details about that copy.

Here’s what’s on the shelf:
• Houdini! The Career of Ehrich Weiss — Kenneth Silverman
• The Life and Many Deaths of Harry Houdini — Ruth Brandon
• Willard: A Life Under Canvas — David Charvet
• Mr. Electric Unplugged — Roy
• Jack Gwynne — David Charvet
• Jarrett — Jim Steinmeyer
• A Magician’s Tour—Revisited
• The Pop-Up Book of Magic Tricks — Ron van der Meer
• Alexander: The Man Who Knows — David Charvet and John Pomeroy
• Del Ray: America’s Foremost Magician of His Time
• My Best — J. G. Thompson Jr.
• The Magician’s Assistant — Ann Patchett

There’s magic history, biography, performance, and a few books you don’t see every day. Take a look at MagicMethods.com and search for the title that catches your eye. Once a copy sells, that’s the disappearing act! 🎩

What’s New at Magic Methods

We’re always working behind the scenes here at Magic Methods to bring classic magic, practical close-up effects, beginner-friendly tricks, and hard-to-find magic items back into the hands of performers and collectors.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been sorting through new inventory, updating product descriptions, improving instruction sheets, and preparing several items for release or restock on the website. Some are classic pieces of magic history, while others are simple, fun effects perfect for beginners, young magicians, magic clubs, schools, camps, and working performers who enjoy practical magic that actually gets used.

At Magic Methods, our goal has always been simple: provide good magic, clear instructions, and products that help you perform with confidence. Whether you are learning your very first trick or adding something unusual to a professional act, we want each item to feel like a little box, bag, or envelope full of possibility.

We also continue to uncover vintage and collectible magic from past inventories, estates, and long-closed magic shops. Many of these items are no longer manufactured, and once they are gone, they may be gone for good. So keep an eye on the website as new items are added regularly.

As always, thank you for supporting Magic Methods. We appreciate every order, every kind note, and every magician who keeps this wonderful art alive.

After all, the secret may be in the method — but the real magic happens when you perform it.
