Hello, all! It's been a long time since I posted, but I'm back! More on that below.
I've been a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! for nearly a year. I've enjoyed it immensely!
This happened after healing from a third fusion in my lower back, having all the old titanium taken out. Interestingly, one screw was stripped, so an old screw is still in one of the vertebrae. It was a successful surgery, and my back feels brand new! Back to cards...
I make card kits that include everything one needs to complete four cards. At each monthly class that I host, everyone makes their kits for $18.
All came to a stop for a short time while recuperating from having a hip replacement.
On July 15, 2024, my 44 year old beloved son, Bryan was diagnosed with Stage 4 inoperable cancer of his esophagus, stomach and liver. The doctor started him on chemo after a regiment of medication. Two days shy on one year, on July 13, 2025, my son passed away after this terrible disease went to his brain. I took a month or two off, then " needed" to get back at creating joy for my sanity. Some days were terribly hard to focus on cards or scrapbooking. But I continued with classes, and the ladies that came were so supportive, caring and comforting.
Six weeks ago, my right knee was replaced. I need a new total body replacement! This is after four rotator cuff fixes, the last one including a screw and pig intestine! Seriously!
March will be my first month back after eight weeks of rehab. I am worth more in joints and pieces than whole! đŸ˜†
I'm back with a vengeance, and here's three new cards to showcase.
The first one is with die cut flowers. The second is made with vellum and gold heat embossing, and the last is another die cut flower card.
The next classes will be March 19, 20 at 6:00 pm, or Sat, March 21 at 1:00. You also have the choice of the following Thursday, Friday or Sat at the same respective times.
