This week’s episode of Tarot Talk features The Star. This is known as the wish card, as if typically means the worst is over and it’s time to have faith in the renewal. The imagery on this card calls back to that of the Temperance card, however it has a much different energy. The two jugs of pouring water represent the conscious and unconscious, and the woman is kneeling completely vulnerable. Typically, one jug pours into the pond and one jug pours onto land, representing the cycle of life as the streams flow. Above, there is an 8-pointed star, which represents purity. It is what has led her to the pond and allowed her to open herself up to the vulnerability that healing requires. 🌟💧🏺
