This month, Pins and Needles celebrates 39 years in business. As I reflect on this milestone, I find myself reflecting about one of the people who helped Mom and I pursue our dream, my Grampa.
He was the kind of person who believed life was meant to be fully lived. As a young man, he performed motorcycle stunts. Later in life, he fulfilled another dream and owned his own airplane. And along his journey he was a tough and successful entrepreneur who taught me so many things about being in business.
He was never afraid to chase a dream. And I am forever grateful that he encouraged me to chase mine. He was not afraid of failure. You cannot accomplish things if you don't take a chance.
This anniversary is dedicated to him AND Gramma - while she did not do motorcycle stunts and was always the passenger not the pilot in the plane, I know he could not have done what he did without her strength and love beside him.
