I opted not to make her hat because I went a little overboard with her hair and feared the extra weight would just be way too much for her neck to handle!! 😅

There is truly no greater honor than being asked to capture the memory of a beloved companion…🥺

My neighbor sadly lost her precious best friend at the end of June, and my heart broke for her…So when she trusted to recreate him in yarn, I knew I had to do my best to try to capture his beautiful eyes, his gentle smile, and little unique marks that made him, 𝐇𝐈𝐌!! 🥺

While nothing can replace the presence of a fur baby who meant the world, I hope this little crocheted tribute brings a bit of comfort, warmth, and love to her home!! 🥰

Rest easy sweet boy…it’s not hard to see how deeply you’re loved and how deeply you’re missed…🥺🐾
