We are heartbroken here at Hunter Brands by the news of the passing of Stir Craft Cocktails & Modern Kitchen’s Chef, culinary artist, friend, and partner Bill Walz.
Bill was an integral part of elevating the food scene here in Mt. Pleasant. His commitment to farm-to-table sourcing, paired with the passion he poured into his innovative approach to dining, made his dishes some of the freshest and highest quality experiences Mid-Michigan has had the pleasure to enjoy. Bill exerted the level of creativity and excellence that those of us in the restaurant scene strive for every single day.
It is with immense love and respect that we pay tribute to this incredible man and send our deepest condolences to his family, including his wife, Cindy, who helped create such a beautifully curated dining experience alongside Bill as the Yin Yang Chefs❤️
