It's kind of wild to think that wildfires burning hundreds of miles away can affect the air we breathe here in Michigan. A statewide Air Quality Alert has been issued, and while most of us can't put our jobs on hold, we can take a few extra precautions.

If you're working outside, we have Moldex 2200 respirators available in store. They help filter the fine PM2.5 particles carried by wildfire smoke and provide better protection than a typical cloth or surgical mask.

Our thoughts are with everyone battling the fires in Minnesota and Canada. Stay safe, drink plenty of water, and take care of yourselves out there.

For a lot of folks, that means a long weekend at the lake, cookouts, and fireworks. But for many hardworking folks, there's still a few more days to get through before the holiday. We'll be closed Friday and Saturday so our crew can celebrate America's 250th birthday with our families.

☀️With temperatures climbing this week, don't forget to slow down when you need to, drink plenty of water, and take care of yourself. If you're looking for a little relief from the heat, we've got cooling bandanas and cooling skull caps in stock.☀️
