Peter didn’t sink because the storm suddenly appeared - the storm was already there. ⛈️
He sank when his focus shifted.

And honestly… that’s where many of us find ourselves too!

Not because we don’t love Jesus.
Not because we lack faith.
But because we are surrounded by CONSTANT distractions competing for our attention.

We’re overwhelmed.
Overthinking.
Scrolling.
Comparing.

The enemy doesn’t always need to remove you from your faith - sometimes he just needs you looking somewhere else long enough to lose your footing!

Jesus never told Peter to analyze the wind or calculate the waves - He simply said, “Come.”

The real question isn’t how strong the storm feels…but where our eyes are fixed.👀🙏

If you feel like you’re sinking lately, don’t panic - just refocus.

Grace still reaches.
Jesus still steadies.
And His hand is still extended toward you.🤎✝️

She went to bed.
He got shot at and stood up and shook his fist.
And he is still standing.
USA!
Thank you, Lord,for your mercy and hearing us cry out for our nation.
It isn't up to the President to save us.
It is our responsibility and duty to serve.
No compromise .
The Lord is giving us opportunities and we must not fail.
Come and let us reason together.

Last nite I went to a visitation for a precious young teenager.
There was a line extending outside the church door continuously for over 2 hours.
The church is located out in the country and has a wonderful pastor and wife.
There were people everywhere surrounding the family.
I looked across the sea of humanity with the old and young and children coming to support the ones who somehow were still standing strong and thought, this is America.
The backbone of our nation.
These people!
Seasoned older men walking up to Amy and Justin and Kressily ,you could see the pain and wisdom those men had in their eyes, for they have lived longer and have known suffering too.
I was privileged to talk for a while with Tonya CollierShortnacy , a mother who has lost her daughter and baby granddaughter and others in her life.
I saw the pure beauty of a woman and the love and glow in her eyes that she carries for her family.
Her faith amazes me.
I have failed sometimes in those areas.
I saw a family who has nurtured their children and the screen on the wall with all the photos were overwhelming, displaying the time spent with activities and events.
What a heritage!
Love your family.
Cherish every moment,even the hard ones.
Pray for this family and all families.

There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
Because through Jesus the law of the Spirit,who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
He paid the debt.
We can live free from all the accusations of the enemy because His MERCIES are new every morning.

There have been almost 64 million abortions since 1973 in the United States.
Tell me abortions haven't become a matter of convenience.
Compare that to the number of pregnancies as a result of rape,incest,etc.
The blood of the innocent is at our feet,America.

As we are nearing getting back home today, I never want to forget the woman on the metro bus we met in Washington DC.
She was from Cameroon,Africa.
She had some kind of neurological disease and her head and body rolled continuously.
She was difficult to understand because of her accent and the loudness of the bus.
But one thing I pray I never forget is her praise for America the whole length of our journey.
She kept raving about how wonderful it is to live in the United States, and how welcoming it is,how open we are to people to come here and how we can make our lives better here.
She said that children are put into cages in Cameroon,treated like animals.
She talked for probably 15-20 mins about 5he freedom here.
It was so refreshing as we had already seen the openness and kindness everywhere we went.
But she added the icing and fireworks to the top of the cake and lit the fuse!
She was on her way to work at the Ga***rd near our hotel .
We had just left the Million Women Call (Esthers from everywhere coming together)
I asked her name amd looked at her name tag.
You will not believe what her name was!
A woman who came here from a country far away to live in the LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE.
Her name was ESTHER!

When we were leaving the Washington DC Mall from the Million Women Esther Call, and about to board the metro, we saw a young man(23), named Antonio,who caught our attention.
We were with 2 wonderful new friends from Alabama, whom we stayed together thru the entire day of the meeting.
They were from Alabama.
The young man was from Georgia and his phone had died and he didn't know how to get back to where he was staying.
He had gone to a location where a track meet was going to be held and he was out of his own exploring the city.
It just so happened that he was staying very near to Alexandria,where we were.
And near the 2 ladies locations.
We just took him under our wings and one of the ladies told him she had a charger in her bag and she would buy his dinner.
He must have wondered what was going on with him being absconded by 2 older and 2 younger women.
He was polite and quiet and after we left the young women and him( because we stopped at their get off stop),these wonderful ladies got back on the metro and went with him to make sure he made it safely to his destination.
God is like that!
He watches over us and makes sure we are going to get to our destiny.
We all agreed that he was too young to be in that situation.
We all knew it was a God appointment with him.
Thank you Lord, for Antonio!
