Thursday, July 4th, come to Mt. Vernon Airport for a night of unforgettable fireworks and memories! Gates open at 5 p.m. and admission is FREE. For safety and traffic flow, vehicles will enter the facility by way of Firebaugh Drive next to the maintenance building on the west side of the main entrance.

Visitors will enter through Firebaugh Drive and vehicles will be parked in the same area as previous years. There will NOT be entry via the main entrance on Aviation Drive. The plan should eliminate part of the backup on Route 15 before the fireworks start — and it eliminates people walking through traffic to get to the event area from the parking.

*The Lion’s Club shuttle will be transporting the public from the parking area to the grounds for free!
