💥ATTENTION 💥

As Opportunity Knox has unfortunately stopped taking appliances with Freon to dispose of for free, we have been getting an influx of more disposal drop offs. With this being said, we wanted to take a second to let everyone know our policies on this matter.

We DO take drop offs of all types. Washers, dryers, ranges, microwaves, dehumidifiers, window air conditioners, refrigerators, coolers, etc.

ANYTHING WITH FREON (ex. Refrigerators, dehumidifiers, window air conditioners, coolers and freezers)
We do have to evacuate, collect, and pay to have the Freon recycled. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this service for free. We charge the very minimum for this service at $50 per unit. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate each and every customer that comes to us for help.

Again, anything WITHOUT Freon IS able to be dropped off for free.

Hey! Do you have well water? Maybe have a rotten egg smell from your hot water? We can help! We do repairs and replacements on hot water tanks! A lot of the time the wrong anode rod (pictured below) is installed in the hot water tank. A simple switch out usually does the trick!

This Friday, August 14th, our office will be closing early at 1pm. This is because our office ladies (Angi and Tasha) will be craft vendors at the Music and Arts Festival! Our phone will still be answered until 5pm. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We like to do things the old fashioned way, so no beating around the bush. Our owner, Kris, has over 30 years in the industry and you’ll always deal right with him when it comes to the repair. His wife and our office manager, Angi, is always there ready to take your calls and help get you on the schedule. With big help from two of the kids! Taylor is always in the truck running to jobs with Kris and Tasha helps Angi in the office with calls! Being family owned and operated, you’ll always feel like family too.

Lowe’s, Home Depot, and other stores carry something called a Surge Protector. They can look like what is pictured below or even as strip outlets.
This is something you can plug into an outlet, then plug any 110V appliances/electronics into. In the event of a power surge, this will help prevent the electronics in your appliances from getting damaged.

BIG NOTE!! THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH 110V!
