After 25 years of business, I have decided it’s time to slow down a bit. I have sold the business to Nick Skorch of Mount Vernon. Going forward I’ll be working with Nick and doing some of his fittings for some time to come. Nick has built a brand-new facility for this, and he is only about 3 or 4 miles from our old facility. Nick is really building a class A facility and I’m excited about being involved in it!
At any rate I just wanted to thank all our great customers throughout the years. It has been a true blessing to work in an industry that I love. Also, I’ve made many good friends through this business, some of which we still play golf with from time to time. And that is invaluable!
So, continue to reach out if you need clubs, repair, etc. And now I’ll let Nick tell you more about himself as well as his plans……..
From Nick:
Many of you have already heard about the acquisition but I wanted to make a post to officially update everyone after the teaser post. I appreciate all the help, support, and excitement I have received regarding the news and during the transition! My family and friends have really bailed me out with loads of help!
Don and I had discussed acquiring the business several times over the last few years, and I am excited to carry on all the things he has built. It’s been a long 5 months, building a new location, moving, and just now starting to finalize setting things up.
Don has a large list of certifications and qualifications, and his being involved and assisting with the transition is a huge help, not only to me but to our customers as well, and I plan to learn a lot from him.
We are waiting for a few things to finalize before we are fully operational. I am hopeful we are about a week away, and I will keep everyone updated as we go.
