This year we may not have had success with growing more luffa gourds, but we are having a successful vegetable garden year.

One unsuccessful moment turns into a chance to learn and try something else.

I still have luffa, just not a new harvest for this year. I will be working to make more scrub rings and sponges.

Well, this year it’s squirrels up one, my Luffas zero. No Luffas this year. Luckily I still have some to work with from last year.

The luffa seeds are just starting to peek out from the dirt (pictures soon). New this year, we are trying the dipper gourd as well. These seedlings have sprouted like crazy in just the past few days.
