Starting to sort through books by genres. As I go, ill be starting a discount rack that will contain damaged and and out of date books. These books and all children's books will be $1.00 each

I will also take pictures of the book titles once I start getting them shelved. That way they will be available for purchase for those of you who are not local to the area. If you see a title you want a synopsis of, just message me the title/s and I will get that for you.

When i started my little journey with the trying to open this bookstore, i shared it with all of you. The building had no floor. It was painted a garish shade of maroo. And dark tan brown(even the ceiling) in the video you can see what the walls looked like before. I'm sure some of you remember what it looked like. Recently ive made a lot of progress that greatly encourages me. While im still a LONG way from a full open, I had to share todays progress with you. The two pictures a before and after of the one corner which will be the seating area.

The bookstore is still a long way from opening for business at the location. Its slow going right now with a lot of work to be done. But i am making slow progress. The check out counter is coming along nicely.

Continue to watch the page for more books for sale in the mean time. I can meet you with books or ship them to you.

Follow the story of the reluctant kath who is destined to become the queen of hearts. Or is she? Becoming queen was not the life she imagined for herself nor is it what she wants. She wants only to open a bakery with her best friend, but being a business owner is not befitting of a lady. Her mother has other plans for her. A marriage to none other than the king of hearts himself.

Its so hard to say much about this wonderful book without giving away what happens. I will say, that i adored this book. Its funny, exciting' adventurous and sad. I love the mix of the alice in wonderland story mixed in with bits of other fairytails and even lines from Edgar Alen Poe's the Raven (which is very fitting to the story). There are twists on the characters and gives possible explanations for the way they are. It was a very hard read to put down and i finished it in just a few days.

Since Easter this year has been interrupted by the coronavirus, i have decided to have a contest!

An easter egg contest! Post or send in pics of the prettiest eggs you can dye/color. Since everyone may not have egg dye at your disposal currently, i will also accept drawn and colored eggs. If you are decorating an actual egg, there is no limit to how you may decorate said egg. You can paint it, color it, carve it. What ever you would like. Contest will end on april 15th. Anyone from anywhere in the county may enter and the prize will be shipped to you free of charge.

I will pick one child and one adult winner. Prize will include a canvas bag with the store logo on it, a book from the genre of your choosing, a small handmade note book and a pen. Children will also win a small stuffed toy instead of a journal and pen. Please share this post!

This is no doubt the hardest and most stressful time for many years and definitely that I've seen in my lifetime. Books are a great way to temporarily escape the worries and craziness going on right now. So....

I'm offering blind date with a book. You pick the genre, I pick the book. $5.99 or 2 for $8.99 including shipping. This is a limited time only deal!

I am also open to request for spacific books. If i don't have the book your looking for, chances are i can find it. It may cost a little more than $5.99 and it may not.
