This weedeater had a broken starter recoil, after repairing the recoil we discovered when pulling the recoil cord the weedeater head would spin with the fly wheel and was very difficult to pull start. We uncovered that the clutch was so worn that it had broke in the clutch drum putting everything in a bind. The broken recoil was a symptom/result of a bad clutch. After a replacement clutch this weedeater is back to work!

When starting this gravley zero turn the right side wheel would immediately start turning backwards kicking the machine quickly to the right. Very dangerous. After an inspection we discovered that this mowers parking brake is engaged with only a mechanical cabe on the right side which had broken. This is a very common issue on these gravley and Ariens zero turns. Come to think of it these particular mowers have a lot "common issues"🤔... but After we replaced the cable it no longer tries to buck you off an run into things while starting and setting idle!

Toro zero turn with no start condition had collapsed fuel lines and the carburetor was completely stopped up with fuel that had Cristalizled. We did a full fuel system servicing which included new fuel lines, fuel filter, carburetor rebuild/cleaning, new fuel pump, cleaned the fuel tanks and replaced the fuel shut off valve. Its now back to work again!

This leaf blower had a no start at issue. After checking that spark and compression was adequate I rebuilt the carburetor replaced the rotted fuel lines, fuel filter, air filter, adjusted the carb and it ran great! Operated for about 10min shut it off an moved on to another repair. As with all 2 cycle equipment I repair i allow to set over night then test again the next day to make sure all is good on a cold start before contacting the customer because 2 cycle equipment can be quite finicky. So went through the process of starting the next morning and nothing! Didn't even try to fire off 🤦‍♂️. Checked spark with tester an discovered it now had zero spark. So after verifying it wasn't the kill switch we replaced the ignition coil and now runs great for the second time! My guess is that the coil must have been on the way out long ago which is why the blower was originally shelfed. A ignition coil going bad will run fine for about 10-20 minutes then will get hot an stop firing or get extremely weak before total failure. Now this leaf blower is running great an ready for work!

With all the recent talk about E15 fuel I just wanted jump on and highly recommend against using it in your small engine equipment! Higher ethanol content attracts water in the fuel therefore the fuel in your carburetor will "Cristalizle" or "gel" clogging the carburetor causing no start issues. It will also make your lawnmowers engine run much hotter... no good. It just over all may not preform as well in small engines, it may void warranties on new mowers, plus it degrades much faster. Talking only 2 to 4 months before it starts degrading! With people saying they've left it in their equipment for only 1 month without operating an it not starting after. While it may be cheaper at the pump it may end up costing you much more down the road!
