This coming Saturday is the first Saturday of the month. If you would like to join us for our Knit & Crochet Group we will be getting together at 10:30am. Just bring whatever project you’re working on. Also for the next month or so we will not be having our Thursday Evening group. We will still have our Thursday morning group. Happy Crafting!

Pepper my goat wanted me to remind you that we will be open this Saturday 10:00 - 5:00 and this Sunday August 23, 2026 from 12:00 - 5:00 for our extended hours for the All Kentucky and Tennessee Shop Hop. The Shop Hop ends at the end of the month so be sure to stop in soon. Pepper also wanted me to let you know that she is in labor today and mad at me for taking photos of her while in labor! Stay tuned and I’ll be sure to post the photos in the comments once they are born.

We are thrilled by the amount of visitors that we have had come to Mountain City, TN and our shop for the All Kentucky and Tennessee Shop Hop. We hope to see many more in the coming weeks. Mountain City is very appropriately named that for a reason. For those that are not familiar with our area, especially those coming from Kingsport please know that there are 3 main highways coming into town. Hwy 421 from Shady Valley is a beautiful drive but has been named “The Snake” due to its curves and elevation. Most GPS apps will try to send you this way. If you prefer a less adventurous drive we recommend Hwy 91 from Damascus, VA or Hwy 67 from Johnson City, TN. Please feel feee to reach out to us if you need help figuring out the best route based on which store you are coming from. However if driving “The Snake” is on your bucket list then then enjoy the beautiful ride!

Just a reminder that Mink Crafts will be open this Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 12:00-5:00 for the All Kentucky and Tennessee Shop Hop extended hours. During the shop hop (July and August) we are also open on Saturdays until 5:00. Happy Crafting and Happy Hopping!
