Denise and Steve made the trip to see us today. She said she loves to come to the shop and wishes they could more often. She is thrilled to finally own a mango McSpadden!
She and Steve make music together. She plays dulcimer and he plays harmonica. Thanks for playing for us today! Enjoy your new McSpadden!

Jena and her hunny made the drive from east Texas today for her to chose the perfect dulcimer. She had a used dulcimer given to her but it wasn't a McSpadden. She tried about 5 and fell in love with the look and sound of this walnut cherry 💕 She and Maizey had a fun time selecting it. Thanks for making the trip! Welcome to the family!

John's chair leg sank in the dirt and he came tumbling out, right on to Jane's dulcimer. No video available...We asked. It was busted up pretty good. Some photos were too graphic to post. If it were a horse, we would have had to put 'er down. There's a few scars, AKA memories but we were able to put the puzzle back together. It will be headed home soon. (Names have been changed to protect the innocent)

We recently repaired this old Lynn McSpadden custom. Originally built for a local doctor, it features some of Lynn's fancy craftsmanship. It had a bit of water damage and the joints at the tailpiece had warped and separated. We were able get it back in working condition and it remains in the same family being played by the next generation. (Video in comments)

Isla is a student of both Corky and Duane. She also played in the noon concert. Isla plays a 26” cherry McSpadden with a Galax back. She is currently the Arkansas 3rd place mountain dulcimer winner.

Tim and Duane were asked to perform a few of their Glass Counter Sessions Songs at The Gathering. I did not have the best view…. But I’ll submit this montage for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!
