We're so excited to release our new "Rest In Peace" crewneck and Esoteric tee, just in time for these chilly temps to roll in! An ode to idea that there's no where else we'd rather be than here amongst the rhododendron. "Peaceful end or dreadful doom, bury my bones where the Rhodo bloom" sums up the sentiment, and those colors will help your spotters locked in and on target. Nate is one of the classic figures of the Southeast. He helped establish some of the most sought-after boulders in our region, alongside many other living legends during the late 2000s and early 2010s. Listen in as we discuss West Virginia’s never ending reservoir of projects and undeveloped routes and boulders with one of regions leaders, Andrew Leich ()

This week we talk snake bites, development, world famous boulders, and much much more with Andrew. The cheat canyon guide book was released back in the fall of 2023 when this episode was recorded, we are sorry we had to wait so long but we think it was worth it. One of our best and a great way to kick off season two.

Cheat Canyon sits around Morgantown, West Virginia providing an accessible taste of some of the best sandstone in the country, Andrew has created the Cheat Canyon guide book which is available for purchase at cheatcanyonrock.com containing over 2,500 bouldering problems… and this is only volume I.

We’re excited to share our mischievously new “Parked Like A Jerk” car magnets, just in time for the rhododendron bloom along the Blue Ridge Parkway! While yes, these magnets would easily adhere to most any bumper, tailgate, or door panel, we of course do not recommend you adhere these to a strangers terribly parked vehicle. Yes, these would gently and non-permanently cling to an inconsiderate person’s car that may be parked illegally or sideways across three parking spaces, but we wouldn’t know anything about that. Maybe these are for your personal car and something you’d only put on a friend’s bumper for funnies and goofs, right? We’re excited to share these, we’re excited for Spring, and remember y'all, “don’t park like a Jerk”.
